Irving born and raised
Sara Ramirez was born and raised in Irving Texas. An Irving High School graduate, she has seen our community change over the years. It was in Irving she learned the skills she needed to start her career, but it's also where she found the love of her life, Richard. The two married shortly after graduation, and Sara took a job at General Motors Company.

Sara Ramirez has worked with the Irving ISD for 11 years, supporting our children as a middle school match teacher.
Volunteering in our city
As a board member for Family Promise Sara Ramirez knows how important it is to take care of those less fortunate. That's why she won the volunteer of the year award in 2017, for her work supporting this important program.
